The blizzard of 2010 brought life in much of the Washington region to a standstill as a storm predicted to be one of the most powerful on record dumped 12 to 21 inches of snow overnight. Five days later, another winter wallop came through the region. More snow and high winds. These images are from the town of Herndon, Virginia, and Dulles airport, about 30 miles from D.C.
