Searching for Dream Street - Aliquippa
Uncommon Grounds Cafe ministry director Herb Bailey counsels a patron inside the cafe in Aliquippa, PA.
Started by Church Army USA evangelist John Stanley, an Australian who has since returned to his homeland, Stanley built the cafe as a safe haven for people from all walks of life.
Stanley had worked in many depressed areas, and said that in Aliquippa the people needed to stop blaming the absence of the steel mill for the area's problems and start working together.
"You can't blame the mill, it's gone. So you start blaming each other and it turns to riot," Stanley said. "All we've got is each other ... and football" referring to the Aliquippa High School team.
